Call of Duty

Hey guys! It's been a long time since I've blogged. I was actually in KL having my holidays/vacations. I bought new stuff, hung around with my cousins and just basically had a good time. Well, I've actually brought my whole PC to KL just to play with it so I think I'm going quite overboard but, who cares? :D

Now, I've been into Call of Duty for some time now and I have actually downloaded a lot of Mods that you can use to modify your gaming experience. These Mods are actually quite fun to play and if you know which ones to use, your gaming experience will be doubled. Now, there are some here that I use. Open Warfare, for one, brings Modern Warfare 2 into Modern Warfare 1. Here's the links. Download the First Part then download the Second Part. E-mail me for more questions. This is especially for all of you CoD fans out there.

I have also been trying out my iPad and I found out that jailbreaking was LEGAL. I was like, huh?!?!?! It actually says so here. So, now I'm trying to get help to degrade my iPad to 3.2.1 firmware version so that I can actually jailbreak it. I hope this works. Anyone with any ways to do that can e-mail me at my e-mail address : gatestan@hotmail.com

Next, I spend my time on quite a few websites like Failbooking, Failblog and OMG-Facts. These are actually quite interesting websites and the first two are really funny. Oh, and did I mention that i bought new sneakers from Skechers? I bet you don't know what even IS Skechers.. It looks quite nice to me. Black with a tinge of orange and white. It's too bad but I think their site is down so I can't give you the link. My apologies. (Added: http://www.skechers.com/shoe_images.page

Apple Technology

Hey folks! This here is my new edition of posting. Haha. It has already been one week of holidays and I am so loving it and so hating it. At time, it's boring and at times, it's uber fun. But most depressing of all, I won't get to see someone. Boohoo. Well, enough of that. I have been busy these past few days in...... Gaming! That's right. I brought my PC from Ipoh to KL just to do stuff. At least now i can't complain of complete boredom like last time.

Other than that, my mum helped me borrow an iPad from her office. It was so cool because it was free and I got to use these "gadgets" finally. I installed dozens of apps and transferred music, movies, books and other stuff into the iPad and everything is just one flick away. Haha. Bet you're jealous aren't you. Have no fear! Because....... Ok be jealous I don't have a cure for jealousy. XD

Lately, I wanted to go to Melaka's A'Famosa with my cousins but their car was full and couldn't take any more passengers. Boohoo me. Well, anyway, my hopes lifted when I went to Sunway Pyramid's PASTA ZANMAI. They server really nice Japanese + Italian food there. The atmosphere is nice, the food is nice, the drinks are nice, what else more can you get?

I'm feeling super energized as I'm drinking lots of coffee nowadays and feel GREAT! I think it's because of the caffeine acting on my asthma lol. Well, anyhooooo I'm starting to design some Apps for iPad, iPhone, and iMac. I'm gonna design these by using Game Salad. You should try it out but you can only access it on a Mac. PC can't install it because it's a dmg file. Well, I'm off to do my own stuff now so bye~!

Hell Has Been Banished

At last, the week of hell has passed and left us with fleeting memories of the torture that it put us through, we being lucky to have come out alive. The relief from constant pain and suffering has floated away into space and made us cry with joy and celebrate with passion. It also helps that we did good in our exams and can cast away our fears and celebrate wildly.

Now, Merdeka day has just gone away but for those of you Non-Malaysian-ers, Merdeka means independence. I know that it sounds a bit "Crappy" but meh, I still have to stand proud for my country. Me and my friends are the so-called "Modern Malaysian-ers" that will take Malaysia to the next level. Haha. This is starting to sound political.

Anyways, I'm heading for my "movie marathon" tomorrow and Monday. We're watching 5 movies in 2 days. Ain't that awesome. And, I get to use my freedom for intensive and brain shattering gaming. Haha. It's gonna be a fun/boring holiday with the two weeks and stuff. But obviously, I'm not gonna waste my time with any camp that's loitering nearby as it will sound good but only end up in getting tortured. So, why get tortured when you've just been released? Exactly. THAT'S MY LOGIC.

So, I'm off to do my "personal stuff" now. Oh yeah and I haven't told you guys about the new Facebook notification setting. It kind of sucks because I would rather have 99 notifications than have 5/6 people crammed into one notification that they commented. What do YOU think?

The Avatar

Hey there folks, it's me again! Well thats kinda obvious but..... Yeah. So, I've been dying to see a 3D movie in the cinemas and I had already booked tickets with some of my other friends to watch it. Just so happens, it's a "special edition" of Avatar. The blue Avatar not the four-colored one. :) Get what I mean? Well, I munched down 3 freaking bags of Spicy Chipsters and it felt gooooood.

To be honest, it wasn't really that good. The thing was the stupid 3D glasses. It was freaking painful after some time and it didn't give a wide range of sight. That wasn't good and irritated me when I wanted to drink my coke or eat my Chipsters. I mean, the 3D effects weren't even as good as I thought it would be and I am cautioning all of you out there to not watch these movies as they waste your money. Why not just sit back and relax and watch a real movie. :)

I don't have much time tonight, or maybe this MORNING as it has just passed the midnight mark but, I'm Gates and warning about these 3D movies. Bye!

Another Fateful Day

Another fateful day precedes as I loiter around doing nothing. Exams are coming ever closer but as I always say: "Who gives a crap :)" Now, I find it more interesting to blog while I'm bored with my exams. I wonder why? *Sarcastic Expression* I just hate it when sarcasm doesn't transfer well through texts and the internet. It makes things so much more robotic and less interesting.

I've suddenly found online social sites such as Facebook interesting due to my lack of soul and attention while studying. I keep playing the same songs over and over in my head and die because of Post Music Listening but Forgot Lyrics Syndrome also known as PMLFLS or POMULIFOL. People suffering from this disease may suffer severe depression when unable to recall lyrics resulting in drastic online searches for lyrics which also results in wasting time waiting for the page to load a million advertisements before a pop-up "pops up" and disrupts the user, making him/her flail in mad and wild anger while singing to the song with the lyrics on screen on a You-Tube video.

Recently, I've developed a taste for parodies scattered all around the web. Actually it's only You-Tube but....... Who gives a crap :) Personally, I love The Key of Awesome by Barelypolitical. Their parodies come in different varieties, some grosser than the others while some making you laugh so hard you'll puke yesterday's constipated crap out. I'm sorry to be so harsh but I'm trying to be "Amusing" Check their You-Tube channel out here.

Now, I think I'm also suffering from Post Traumatic Stress DIGESTION because I keep going to the toilet after I stressed out on my pile of books. It's like I suck in information and pass out the same thing in my toilet. I think that's why I don't get any smarter. =.= Well, I think I've said enough for now and as my MUM says, GAMBATEH. Which is somehow retarded when she says it but I still love her :) It has it's motivating purposes. XD

Techmalurgical Advancement

I know, I know, the title sounds crappy right? It was the only thing I could think of so..... Deal with it. :) Lately, I've been having lots of things on my mind but sometimes, I'm still bored out of my wits. Exams are around the corner and everybody's treating it lightly. Maybe I should put out the fire under their hot air balloons or something. Well, I'm getting real bored of Malaysian history syllabus and its just plain boring. Nothing to really be interested about except for countless lost battles. I keep asking myself, why do I study? For exams? For grades? Research has already shown that Malaysia is an exam-oriented country and all of us study for exams only. Which really sucks but I can't do anything about it so....... Yeah. That sucks.

And, I find out that my state, Perak, is the dumbest state in my country. -.-||. So we're having a combined exam that has the same date for every school in Perak. Well, enough about study. Now about my life. My life has been going on quite well, some ups and downs, getting yelled at for being "slow-minded", yelling back at the teach and rebuking. Well, the works. My life is simple and enjoyable but sometimes twisted, manipulative and illogical. But I always seem to be able to pull out at the end and save myself from anything bad that is about to come. I think that's my "special social ability" and I think everybody has one too.

Well, now I have gotten my Poom belt already and I'm actually teaching other belts to do their Tageuk ( Taekwondo Patterns ). It's been quite fun seeing as I can order them around. :) Just joking. Haha. I even got my new DSLR camera that everyone has been envying. It's a NEX-3 Sony DSLR Semi-Pro which is suitable for my stupid standards. It's actually my first camera and I hope it stays for 10 years++. Lol. Even though I don't think it will survive under my hazardous aura. Haha.

Exams

Exams are coming up fast and it's exhilarating to be in the speed of things. But, some things are just going on too fast and you have to say goodbye to them soon. I haven't prepared for my exams yet even though I know they're coming really fast. My school is one of the schools that is having the exams at a really really late time. It's on the 30th of August, until 3rd of September. I know I am going to die in the History exam but I will do my best and keep my rep. If I even have a rep. LOL. Several things are going on at once and it's a little frustrating to keep up with events but I'm just winging it and hope for the best.

Black Belt (Poom) Grading

Well, today I had my Poom grading. Since I'm not 16 years old yet, I can't get black belt. I had to break one half inch and two one inch boards. I twisted my knuckles punching the board and had to use elbow or the half-inch board. But when I broke the board, I broke my sweetheart's heart by letting her see me clutch my knuckles in pain. I broke the other two boards easily with a backthrust and a side-kick. I am sure that I can get my Poom now. Good luck to all you other people there who has to go for a black belt grading.

Highschool Sweetheart

I have found my one and she is the best that I can ask for. She's beautiful, smart and English educated. We have been going on for some time now but nobody knows yet. We're waiting for the right time to rush out into the world, hand in hand, being each other's donashi. =D

ICAS Medallist, at last!

It has been a long long while since I update my blog! You might ask why? Well, as usual, I 'lost' or rather forgot my password!

Now that I am back, I would like to share my first piece of happy news! I won the Gold Medal for ICAS Computer Skills 2010. Yip yip Hurray!

Computer Skills is the first that we get the results, next one should be Science. I sat for the Science as well, but I don't think any chance of getting a Medal for it as there are about 3 questions that I do not know how to answer, very hard indeed!

I have so many events awaiting results, I better list them down here so that I won't miss out the dates when the results are out! They are:

1. ICAS Computer Skills (already out, Medal winner)
2. ICAS Science (should be out anytime now!!)
3. ICAS Writing (September?)
4. ICAS English (October?)
5. ICAS Mathematics (Gosh, miss the deadline, not sitting for it)
6. Royal Commonwealth Essay Competition (Results in August 2010)
7. Scholastic Essay Competition (Results in October 2010)
8. Goi Peace Foundation Essay Competition (Results in November 2010)

Phew, what a list!!

Magazine of The Gods 4 IN 1

The other 4 books of the series are as follows.

The Sea of Monsters
The Titan's Curse
The Battle of The Labyrinth
And
The Last Olympian

In The Sea of Monsters, Percy Jackson wakes up finding his dreams disturbing. He dreamt of his satyr friend, Grover being chased by a one-eyed gargantuan. He pushed this thought out of his mind as he thought it was unimportant. But little did he know, It was all that mattered.

In due course, Percy learned that his best "mortal" friend Tyson, had not been in fact a mortal at all. Tyson was actually his half-brother cyclops. The mist prevents humans and some unattentional half-bloods not see the true identity of a creature.

Tyson was actually a production of the Sea God Poseidon with a nature nymph or dryad, creating an abomination. Percy did not think Tyson as a monster but most of his demigod friends shied away from Tyson.

Percy soon learned that Half-Blood camp was in danger and the pine tree, Thalia had been poisoned, causing the magical barriers of the camp to falter. Soon after, Annabeth, friend to Percy and daughter to the goddes of wisdom Athena, set out on a Quest to find missing Gorver and the Golden Fleece to save Half-Blood camp.

On the way, they met obstacles including the Sirens, the Sorceress and the cyclops Polyphemus. They travelled across The Sea of Monsters, took the Golden Fleece, saved Grover and saved Half-Blood Camp.

After several weeks, the campers notice that the Golden Fleece worked its magic too well. Thalia, daughter of Zeus The Lightning God that was trapped in the pine tree got freed because of the Golden Fleece. Now, Thalia joins Percy, Annabeth and Grover in their most daring adventures.
